Neil;
Jerry Mitchell sent me your web site info. He and I worked together last year to stir up the class into giving more. Mixed results, but did enjoy getting to know Jerry. We keep in touch.
Haven’t seen you since the FlexCar Portland startup, but have been keeping an eye on your old venture which appears to be doing well. Heard that you had sold it. So what are you dong with all those ill gotten gains?
Enjoyed your ’20 summers left’ speech excerpt. Very ‘timely’ and good advice.
As for me, I do enjoy my work and don’t plan on retiring til at least 70. May buy a place in Tuscany as soon as they get broadband well established, so I can work from there. Have been expecting the So. Europe RE crack for some time. Also, expect the $ to stabilize and then improve against Euro this year. Now that both are underway, expect some decent deals to start appearing late ’08 earliest and into ’09.
Would enjoy hearing from you about your escapades.
Regards,
Philip

Hi Neil,
Thanks for the opportunity to dance after 25 years of not taking one step on the dance floor. You are a fascinating man, and I enjoyed our brief visit. Would have loved more time and quietness to hear about your foundation and other insights into living a fulfilling life. I enjoyed your 20 Summers of Life. It’s a great philosophy; and, from all you cram into each day, you certainly walk your talk! Best of luck with your speaking engagements.

Dear Mr. Peterson,
I am a member of the faculty at Wayne State and was at the luncheon today. I just want to tell you that I was truly impressed with what you had to say, and talked about you and your mission in my class this evening. I feel that there is a great deal of validity in your approach to ADD/ADHD. I feel that all teachers as well as administrators should be schooled in differentiated instruction for a start!
My program area is Special Education Administration and I feel Special Education should be a service, NOT a PLACE.
Bravo, Neil!

Neil, You may recall my name from next door in New Canaan and at Taft. I saw a blurb about you in the Taft Bulletin, and thus visited the website. Not entirely by coincidence, given our age, I am re-retiring this year to live full time on Cape Cod. Related to your career and work with the disabled, I spent 30 years with the School District of Philadelphia dealing with legal issues of kids with disabilities, and the next 7 in a private law firm representing parents of same in disputes with educational agencies. Looking forward to the next 20 summers, we plan to travel around the country, and the west coast is on the agenda. Perhaps we can connect.
Regards, Bob
